Kids Dig Food Camps
Hands-on Learning
This is a program that literally allows kids to bring food from ground to plate in a fun, creative, and tasty week of gardening, wild craft, farm tours, cooking, and eating!
Since 2013, this five-day summer camp based out of the Muheim Elementary School Garden has engaged children ages 7-13 in learning about where food comes from and how to bring it to our plates in fun, healthy and tasty ways.
Children learn experientially about soil health, seed saving, companion planting, mulching, harvesting, cooking and much more! Local farms are showcased and toured during this week-long program.
